Chester was born here at Icemead in 2010 and is son to "Breezer" ..
He was the largest puppy in his litter and weighed 9kgs at 6 weeks of age.
His temperament is what defines him and he's what us up North would describe as being "soft as muck". He's still a puppy at heart and most of the time doesnt actually realise how big he is..
He has to be one of the most friendliest and trustworthy dogs around , he's got a great nose and a keen prey drive...pheasants,rabbits and hare's are his favourite quarry although he's never been cunning or fast enough to catch a hare...His photographs don't really do him justice, he's not a natural poser and stacking him for a photo was an experience..
He is a liver coloured german shepherd and granted he's not going to be to everyones liking, however I am a fan and I'm confident "Chester" will attract a few more..(altho probably not within the "show fraternity").
He is also available at public stud to anyone wanting to introduce the colour back into the breed..and in the words of Max V. Stephanitz the breed founder..."“No good dog can be a bad colour.”
"Chester" ....15 months of age...
